Prof Stuart MacKay (ENT)

Professor MacKay completed his MBBS at the University of NSW in 1998, before completing his Fellowship in Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery in 2006. In 2007, he became the only surgeon in NSW to have completed a Fellowship in Airway Reconstruction Surgery for Snoring and Obstructive Sleep Apnoea.He currently operates at Wollongong Public and Private Hospitals, Shellharbour Private Hospital, Wollongong Day Surgery and Woolcock, RNSPH.He is also actively involved in teaching as both Professor and Examiner at the University of Wollongong Medical School. Professor Stuart MacKay has special interest and expertise in:

  • General and paediatric ENT, head and neck surgery
  • Head and neck oncology
  • Sleep disordered breathing; OSA surgery and airway modelling and manipulation
