Prof Nagesh Pai is the Foundation Professor of Psychiatry at the Graduate Medicine, Faculty of Science, Health & Medicine, and University of Wollongong, Adjunct Professor of Psychiatry & Medical Education, Manipal University; Visiting Professor at SRM University, Chennai, India. He Chairs Clinical Phase (Phase2) of MBBS Program and chaired NSW Specialist International Medical Graduates in Psychiatry upskilling project and is the Facilitator of Australian Clinical Practice skills course, RANZCP, Accredited examiner for clinical examinations of RANZCP for Trainee and exemptions candidates and Accredited Assessor of Substantial comparability Assessments, RANZCP, and auditor and academic member of substantial comparability review Panel, RANZCP. Professor Pai has completed his basic Psychiatry Training at NIMHANS, Bangalore and has obtained CCST (UK) in General Adult Psychiatry and FRANZCP. He underwent training in Health Service research and Development and Medical Education and has been a Fellow of a number of Psychiatric organisations. Recently he was awarded International Distinguished Fellowship of American Psychiatric Association for his life time contribution to Medical education, research and patient care.
