A/Prof Laurencia Villalba is one of the founders of the Vascular Care Centre dedicated to providing excellence in the care of patients with arterial and venous disorders, offering the latest techniques and a comprehensive approach. She has a special interest in minimally invasive treatment of complex venous and arterial pathology, May Thurner syndrome, Pelvic Congestion syndrome, Deep Venous Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism.

A/Prof Villalba has had extensive national and international training. She has been awarded Fellowships in Vascular and Endovascular Surgery from Canada and Australia. She is also a Fellow of the College of Phlebology (Vein Specialist) and a Senior Lecturer at the University of Wollongong. She is the current supervisor of training for the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons
