Dr Ravi Kumar Cherukuri is an experienced neurosurgeon who has practised in the Illawarra for the last 14 years. Dr Cheukuri is currently a VMO, Department of Neurosurgery at Wollongong Hospital and Wollongong Private Hospitals. He is currently Clinical Associate Professor with the Graduate School of Medicine, University of Wollongong.

Dr Cherukuri provides treatments for a variety of neurosurgical disorders including cranial, spinal and peripheral nerves and is particularly interested in Minimally Invasive Neurosurgery as well as Cerebrovascular surgery.

Dr Cherukuri commenced his extensive international career in Neurosurgery by joining the Neurosurgery Residency Training Program at the National Institute of Mental Health and Neurosciences (NIMHANS) in Bangalore, India in 1987. He has worked extensively across the globe in India, UK, USA and Australia.
