Dr Beverly Rayers is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists and is a clinical Senior Lecturer in Mental Health at the University of Wollongong.
Dr Rayers obtained her Bachelor of Medicine at Southampton University Medical School in England. She worked throughout Australia and the UK in General Practice, Addiction Medicine, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Remote and Rural Health before undertaking further specialist training as a Psychiatrist. She has a master's Degree in public health and Tropical Medicine from Townsville University and a Postgraduate Diploma in Drug and Alcohol Treatment from the Imperial College, London.
